HOT-MELT APPLICATION EXTRUDERS
The application of Hot Melt has been made from melting pots since ancient time but when the new high molecular, high density, high temperature resistant polymers took over the Hot Melt application for stronger joints at higher temperatures the problem of oxidation and long time melting in the presence of oxygen raised. The technology of applying adhesive therefore developed more and more to the extrusion technique.
The extrusion technique maks it possible to stock and feed the Hot Melt at room temperature and to melt just as mueh as needed without the presence of oxygene and without oxidation or separation provided the Hot Melt is in granular form.
AXON has a number of different sizes of Application-Extruders for Hot Melt in granular form.
